CBN Zoning Upgrade (ZoUP)

Tuesday July 15, 2025

The City of St. Louis is launching its Zoning Upgrade (ZOUP) process, a major effort to modernize the City’s zoning code to better reflect community needs and priorities. As this work begins, City leaders are eager to engage early with CDCs and neighborhood-based organizations like yours. In partnership with the City’s Planning and Urban Design Agency and the Zoning Section of the Building Division, they’re hosting a roundtable discussion specifically for CBN CDC Members. Your insights will help shape how this process moves forward by grounding it in the real challenges, experiences, and goals of the communities you serve. We hope you can join us for this important early conversation!  Learn more about the Zoning Upgrade effort.

Dutchtown Main Streets

Join Dutchtown Main Streets this Thursday, July 10th at Intertwine Wine Bar for a casual evening of networking focused on Buy Back the Block efforts in Dutchtown along Virginia Avenue and beyond! The main event is an opportunity to check out the amazing transformation at 4705 Virginia at Itaska. St. Joseph Housing Initiative continues to rehab this long-vacant building into a beautiful and affordable home for a new Dutchtown family! We'll also be gathered across the street at Intertwine Wine Bar to talk equitable and affordable development all over Dutchtown that's bringing new business opportunities and quality affordable housing to build a more vibrant Dutchtown that's accessible for everyone. Whether you're already working in Dutchtown or just curious about getting involved, come connect with fellow small-scale developers and neighbors building community together. Raise a complimentary glass of South Side Spark Sangria, a bold blend for bold ideas!
