Missouri Preservation is excited to bring the 2020 Statewide Preservation Conference to our capital city! This year’s theme is overcoming adversity, which can apply to the realm of historic preservation in many ways. For Jefferson City, it has been facing the difficulties placed before them following the tornado in May of 2019. Adversity in another community may take the form of a government not wanting to support preservation-friendly legislation. Some organizations just might lack the funding and support needed to move forward. Whatever adversity you’re facing, we hope the 2020 conference can help you find some of the answers you’ve been looking for!
