Interns & Practicum Students
An internship or practicum with CBN offers a chance to delve deeply into a project—or several—that addresses a pressing issue our network is currently grappling with. It also provides an opportunity to connect with and work alongside community leaders all over the region.
CBN has been proud to work with incredible interns and practicum students over the years since our founding.
If you’re interested in exploring an internship or practicum opportunity with CBN, please contact us with 1-3 areas of interest among our organizational pillars and/or supported coalitions found on the website. Please also tell us why you are interested in working with CBN and what you hope to bring to our team.
Some examples of projects that past interns and practicum students have completed during their time at CBN are listed below:
Planned and coordinated the Social Policy and Electoral Accountability Collaborative’s 2017 Mayoral Forum at the Sheldon
Helped CBN’s Community Engagement Action Group transition to a member-driven group leadership model
Spearheaded advocacy efforts around St. Louis City’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund
Co-designed and co-led CBN’s annual Ladder of Capacity Building workshop/training series
