Missouri Foundation for Health and Alliance for Justice are hosting a free online workshop for Missouri nonprofits on legal tips for advocacy.

The virtual event will answer questions such as:

• What is lobbying?

• How much time can my Missouri 501(c)(3) spend on lobbying?

• What are ways nonprofits can participate in an election year? 

After this workshop you will have a clear understanding of how to maximize your advocacy, the kinds of advocacy activities 501(c)(3)s can engage in, and when a communication is considered lobbying.
