The Case for a Mentoring Alliance: A working meeting to improve the capacity and mentoring ecosystem in the St. Louis region.
Please join HomeGrown STL at the November 14th Strategic Networking Breakfast to launch the HomeGrown StL Mentoring Alliance. Could a Mentoring Alliance between service providers create a stronger mentoring ecosystem for Black boys and young men in the St. Louis region?
Since our 3rd Regional Summit on Black Boys and Young Men in February 2019, HomeGrown StL has been building on the momentum you’ve helped us create by implementing the next phase of our efforts, the HomeGrown StL Mentoring Alliance.
This is a working meeting for regional mentoring organizations, where we will set the priorities of the Mentoring Alliance focused on improving the region’s capacity to share mentoring best practices and create a collaborative timeline to fight resource fragmentation in St. Louis.
New research supported by the Youth Violence Prevention Commission on best practices and challenges area programs will be presented.
