Join FOCUS St. Louis for a forum with change makers who are exercising their influence inside of civic institutions on issues of race and police power. The event will discuss their roles as both civic leaders and change agents, and what changes are on the horizon inside their institutions.

We have been witnessing the power of spontaneous and massive demonstrations to alter the American Conversation. History teaches us that any successful movement for change must also include leadership voices inside civic institutions and the halls of power who harness the momentum coming from acts of civil defiance in the streets. This is historically a controversial position involving a difficult balance between staying at the table and calling for the table to change. St. Louis has a deep bench of experience when it comes to this role.
