Over the past year, residents and other key stakeholders have engaged in numerous conversations to develop a shared vision for the future of the West End neighborhood.
Thanks to support from Missouri Foundation for Health, Cornerstone Corporation was able to build on the momentum created by this planning process by funding resident-led community engagement activities. Fifteen applications were received totaling $57,165; eleven of those submissions were eligible based on the grant criteria. A Grant Review Committee consisting of five residents reviewed the eligible applications and recommended six projects for grant awards totaling $18,500.
