400 Years of Inequality, a coalition of organizations and individuals dedicated to dismantling structural racism and building strong, healthy communities, has called upon cities across the country to join in the observance of the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the first enslaved Africans to the United States in 1619. The Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis is pleased to join the nation in commemorating this milestone and to serve as the host of a workshop featuring members of the 400 Years of Inequality in St. Louis.
Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to meet members of 400 Years of Inequality and receive a toolkit with recommendations of ways to connect to the national commemoration and involve their own communities.
