Celebrate progress in St. Louis with DeSales Community Development from the comfort of your home!
Since their founding in 1976 as one of St. Louis’ first community development corporations, DeSales has been regarded as a leader and innovator. This year, they have worked to support their neighbors and community through the unprecedented COVID-19 situation by connecting people with financial assistance and initiating a summer-long Food and Essentials donation program.
This year’s Night In for Neighborhoods will highlight the new Rung for Women building in Fox Park. Rung is a non-profit whose mission is to empower women to grow and achieve sustained independence by providing co-located services and resources. Construction of their $20-million building is due to be completed this summer and this will be one of the first public events to show the space!
Besides a virtual tour and interview with the leaders of Rung, the event will also include an online auction, mystery "booze pull", and award presentation! They will provide goodie bags and virtual experiences to maximize the level of attendee engagement and connectivity.
