Dutchtown South Community Corporation (DSCC) is hosting a neighborhood leadership academy for residents in South St. Louis city, particularly Benton Park West, Gravois Park, and Dutchtown. The leadership academy is designed for residents to grow skills for implementation of the Gravois Jefferson Historic Neighborhoods Plan, adopted in May 2018 by the City's planning commission.

These activities are funded in part by a grant from HUD via the St. Louis Community Development Administration and InvestSTL, an initiative the St. Louis Community Foundation.

Workshop 6 - Learning to Use Impact Assessment Tools Effectively
This workshop will explore strategies and methodologies for practicing ethical and socially responsible property development. Trainers should demonstrate how to design and conduct impact assessments, including environmental and social impact assessments, with attention of a racial equity lens. This workshop will also address how impact assessments contribute to successful and ethical real estate development practices and projects.
