This event will unite local leaders to "hack" solutions to improve food security across the region. Participants include executive directors from non-profits focused on addressing hunger and food security; ag, geospatial, logistics and financial technology experts; innovative entrepreneurs and dedicated community leaders. The hack will organize attendees in teams to concept new technology applications, education programs, food market models, and urban agriculture solutions that can make a difference. The teams will spend the afternoon of April 20 hacking solutions and presenting to the other teams. On Tuesday evening, April 21, the concepts will be presented at a public event hosted at Danforth Plant Science Center.
