Each year, approximately 3.6 million people in the United States delay or skip medical care due to challenges related to transportation. In a broader sense, mobility is a key indicator of capacity to thrive - providing access to fresh foods, social connection, education and employment. While there is common understanding of transportation as a social determinant of health (SDOH), additional work is needed to identify and scale practical solutions across geographic regions and devise policy solutions that address upstream transportation challenges.

Please join stakeholders interested in health and transportation from across the state to discuss best and emerging practices, share ideas, and identify potential paths forward to reduce transportation-related barriers to care and more efficiently coordinate transportation to promote health and wellness.
