As housing counselors, we can be advocates and resourceful to tenants while also helping them to understand the eviction process, know their rights, be aware of their responsibilities, and informed of their options. During this three-day training, we will explore the key components of the eviction process and discuss strategies that will help tenants attain housing stability as quickly as possible.

  • Recognizing the terminology associated with the eviction process.

  • The components of the eviction process and understanding each phase.

  • Helping tenants understand their rights and options.

  • Preparing for transition when eviction is imminent.
